Working on
Senior developer at Two B2B, a fintech BNPL platform. Right now I'm building out a major enterprise checkout integration, adding e-invoicing support to the merchant portal, consolidating shared libraries across repos, and contributing to a company management admin tool.
Exploring
AI-assisted development is a large focus right now, both in terms of using it daily for work and to understand the deeper concepts of the underlying tech. I've also been spending time with creative coding generative art with p5.js, D3 and Three.js. It's the part of development that keeps me curious.
A career assistant chatbot built into this portfolio site, using TypeSafe Jev as a fast guardrail layer in front of GPT-4o. Every message is classified by Jev first: spam and prompt injection attempts are blocked at near-zero cost, and only legitimate questions reach the LLM. Built with SvelteKit, the TypeSafe AI SDK, and OpenAI, deployed on Vercel. More details here.
Eddy, a canvas-native note app built with React 19 and TypeScript. Text, ink, and shapes coexist on a single canvas, and the text reflows around whatever you draw in real time. The hard part is a line-by-line layout engine that reads stroke geometry every frame and adjusts each row's width accordingly. More details here.
Banau, a browser-native poster editor built with SvelteKit and Svelte 5. You place vector primitives on a canvas and prompt AI to turn them into finished compositions, or describe a scene from scratch. It's a playground for normalised coordinates, structured JSON from the model, and keeping API keys on the server. More details here.
Learning
- LLM Engineering: working through a course covering RAG, LoRA, AI agents, and building production LLM apps
- Three.js: going deeper into 3D graphics and creative coding experiments
- Getting back into React after a few years of Svelte-first work
Reading
I mostly read blogs and articles on design, development and AI. Lately getting more into design engineering and what it means to build software that actually looks and feels good.
